Becoming Homeless
With Stanford’s Virtual Human Interaction Lab (under Professor Jeremy Bailenson) I am developing an immersive VR experience using Unity3D/C# and Blender, targeted towards empathy-related research on homelessness. Utilizing the OculusSDK package, this project is geared towards a release on the Oculus Quest store around December 2024.
Across VHIL’s studies, VR experience changes helping behavior more than other types of perspective taking exercises, and the effect lasts months afterward.
