Safepal provides isolated elders safe ways to navigate to their destinations on their daily walks. Specifically, the app aims to prevent elderly from falling, one of the leading injury-related death among seniors, when they are outside of their homes.

The app takes the user’s (an elder) location, local news, and users’ reports to gather information that can cause users to fall—from crowded areas to slippery roads — to provide them the safest routes to their destinations.
