CS11SI: How to Make VR: Introduction to Virtual Reality Design and Development (Head TA)

In this hands-on, experiential course, students will design and develop virtual reality applications. We teach students how to use Unity game engine, the most popular platform for creating immersive applications. The class teaches the design best practices and the creation pipeline for VR applications. Students work in groups to present a final project in building an application for the Oculus Quest 2 headset.

Currently the Head TA - give out lectures, hold office hours, and design the Fall curriculum.

STANFORD WOMEN IN DESIGN : PRESIDENT OF EDUCATION

Design and lead quarterly long curriculums for Stanford students interested in designs and lead programs/workshops with 70+ participants. Focus on teaching UX/UI methodologies, Figma, and Photoshop.

 

COMMON ORIGINS : Publicity Chair

Brainstorm, ideate, and design promo materials for Stanford’s hip hop, non-audition dance group; from successful marketing on social media and campus campaigns, recruited Stanford’s largest team ever(77 dancers).
